Did you hear?

Yahoo reported today that some of the major airlines will be integrating iPod connections into their seats. The connection will allow the iPod to be recharged and played without the dreaded battery going dead mid flight. This is a brilliant idea! I can hardly wait to have it implemented and enjoy iPod video on all those long trips to Florida.

Making a product like this that only becomes more universal with time is an ace marketing move that Apple has done so magnificently. With the wide range of accessories, the ever-expanding library, car integration and now airplanes. What is left for the iPod? Ok, I know telephones. I am waiting.

Once again Steven Jobs has trumped Microsoft and taken some of the glory from the Zune which subsequently launched today. Did you hear?
