Flight Hostages

After a flight where I was forced to sit on a runway for 2 hours before takeoff, circle in a holding pattern for 1 hour and then wait another hour on the opposite runway for the gate to be ready, I decided the airways have us all hostage. Most businesses work on the fact that treating customers well is a natural way to repeat and new customers but when have airlines had to play by the rules?

I wonder how long we, as consumers will be forced to cater to them. Jet Blue and some of the other smaller carriers have made some innovative moves towards bettering the user experience. I still see the big carriers sticking to their guns. Cramped quarters, unnecessary delays, and no TV’s seem to be here to stay for the big guys.

I just found this on YouTube and I found it to be quite interesting in relation to the post. I can believe what the airlines get away with.
